Made in Italy: The Mills Behind the Fabric

Reda Italian Suit

Reda and Zignone are two of Italy’s most respected mills, and we work closely with them to create our luxurious range of Italian Suits. Both mills are rich in history, family-run, and based in Biella at the foot of the Italian Alps, a region renowned for producing some of the finest wool in the world using a mix of traditional methods and modern techniques.

Reda Mill

Meet the Mill: Reda

One of the most prominent names in the textile world, Reda has been making wool fabric since 1865 and remains one of the few mills in Italy to manage the entire production process themselves. From sourcing traceable wool of the highest quality, to dyeing and weaving, everything is done in-house.

Reda produces the wool for our Italian collection, including our Super 110s wool, known for its high quality and smooth texture. With deep roots in Italian textile heritage and full control over the process, Reda delivers fabric that looks and feels luxurious.

Meet the Mill: Zignone

Zignone was founded in the 1960s, and the family-run business also carries out each stage of the production process at its mill. The mill produces fabric for our Italian suits, including our range of Super 100s wool suits. The result is fabric that wears well, with the same smoothness and softness you’d expect from super wool.

Inside Our Italian Collection

We use fabric from Reda and Zignone to create our elegant collection of Italian suits. These suits are made to wear well, look sharp and feel good to wear, and are crafted with pure wool for natural breathability and softness. Each of our suit jackets is crafted with a half canvas lining to give structure to the front of the suit, creating a natural drape that moulds to your shape and becomes uniquely yours over time. Finished with fine pick stitching along the lapels, it’s the small details that make these beautiful suits.

The Italian collection features a range of styles, from deep green wool checks to classic navy textures and lighter options like stone twill that suit everything from business meetings to weddings.
